We had a complex problem to continue to develop algorithms to understand protein-protein interactions. Jiggy brings a powerful combination of deep analytical understanding and broad technical skills. Key examples were comprehending and running fairly complex statistical methods, recommending modifications to default priors in an existing pipeline based on updated literature, and then shifting to a more practical project of formalizing existing genotype-phenotype pipelines in Docker and creating a Bash test suite. This also highlighted Jiggy’s flexibility across Bash, Python, R, AWS, and the *nix CLI.

Jiggy, in comparison with other consultants, didn't need much domain-specific direction (he's already very well versed in computational biology and bioinformatics), and he went the extra mile in terms of documentation and clean code.
